Gelu Tech VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) Reference Design

Based on ST PowerPC automotive grade MCU SPC574K72 and highly integrated U-chip L9788，helps customers quickly build vehicle controller system. In order to help customers quickly establish vehicle controllers to meet the requirements of AUTOSAR and functional safety, and shorten the development time of customers, Shanghai Gelu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., a third-party design company, developed the reference design of VCU.

In terms of hardware resources, in addition to the above-mentioned u-chip and MCU, it also includes multi-channel HSD / LSD output L9301 (12 channels of SPI interface configurable high and low side drive) and L9305 (4 channels of high-precision current control configurable high and low side drive), and a brush DC motor drive IC L9960T, as shown in the figure below.

Software services can provide complete reference design based on AUTOSAR：

Development tool-chain：

l    ST provide free SPC5 Studio tool ( IDE +compiler)

l    Customers can also choose commercial paid tools, such as compilers as Tasking / hightec, debugging simulators such as PLS UDE / Lauterbach, and various BSW / ASW toolchains in AUTOSAR environment
